Welcome to the I-90 Exit 59 (N. LaCrosse Street) Interchange Improvements Project Virtual Construction Information Meeting
The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) in coordination with the City of Rapid City are constructing improvements at the I-90 Exit 59 (N. LaCrosse Street) Interchange and on I-90 between Exit 58 (N. Haines Avenue) and Exit 59 (N. LaCrosse Street). This virtual construction meeting is intended to provide information regarding the second season of construction on the project, including information on construction sequencing for the work on North LaCrosse Street as well as route detours during construction of the diverging diamond interchange improvements.

Project Background
The first season of construction on the project was completed in 2021, with the I-90 mainline improvements being installed. Construction on the second season of improvements is anticipated to begin on February 28, 2022, with the new interchange becoming fully operational in November, 2022. Overall project completion is scheduled in June of 2023.
